The Cavalier-North Border Tornado cross country season came to a close with both the boys and girls finishing the season out very strong at the State Meet on October 24, 2009. Although the weather didn't cooperate this didn't seem to affect the runners much at all. Lexi Furstenau and Hailey Longtin finished in the top 20 and earned All-State honors and their fastest times of the year. Anthony Askew lead the boys team with his All-State performance by taking 16th. Askew capped off an outstanding year with a great race. Continue reading for highlights of the meet.
Cavalier School Celebrates Summer Temps
Cavalier School students and staff were treated to a summer grill out on Thursday. Garnet & Linda did the grilling & Mrs. Peterson's Family and Consumer Science students helped serve the meal. There was no special occassion other than enjoying the summer weather in the middle of September!! View some pictures of the event.
