Cavalier FBLA Place 2nd in State

Cavalier High School’s FBLA Chapter earned the Second Place Award for Outstanding Chapter at the 2012 State Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference in Bismarck on April 1-3, 2012.  Over 50 FBLA chapters from across the state, including both Class A and B schools, participated in the conference, where  approximately 1,200 students had the opportunity to test their business skills against other students from around the state. Thirty-one students from Cavalier’s chapter, which is advised by Barb Puppe, attended this year’s conference.

Levi Brown Places in Poetry Out Loud State Finals:

The North Dakota Council on the Arts is pleased to announce that the first place winner of the North Dakota State Poetry Out Loud National Recitation Contest is Stephen Gasser of Minot High School, Magic City Campus in Minot, ND. The second place winner is Matthew Donahue of Shanley High School in Fargo, ND. Third place was awarded to Levi Brown of Cavalier Public School in Cavalier, ND.

Tornado Vision

Tornado-Vision. Tornado vision will be coming mid to late fall 2012. It will be brodcasted on Channel 77 by polar. Tornado-vision will play prerecorded and live sports events, school programs, and school news. So check it out when it comes and enjoy.

Technology Education sees two new classes started up this semester

As the second semester started Cavalier Public School saw a big change take place with the school website. Mr. Hay's Communication Technology class has taken over the school's website. You will see some changes in the layout and with other areas of the site. The class has spent the first few weeks learning the ropes and now this week has started working on the school's home page.
